Membership Information - 2011

We are looking forward to another successful and fun filled summer at the pool.  The 2011 season will run from May 23rd (week before Memorial Day) through Labor Day (Sep 5th). 

Swim Club membership is available to any resident of Biltmore Park (including Braeside at Biltmore Park).  For non-residents, Associate Membership is available per the conditions listed below.

• For insurance purposes, the Swim Club must maintain its status as a 'Neighborhood Pool'.  As a result, Associate memberships are limited to 10-20% of total resident membership as determined by our insurance underwriters (normally between 20-30 families).

• All returning Associate Memberships are subject to Board approval and are given priority over new associates if they pay their dues and turn in their membership application by March 1st. The ranking of returning associate applications is based on the number of years of uninterrupted membership. However, the deadline to maintain priority for Associate member applications is March 1, 2011. After that date returning Associate members would lose their seniority and be put into the queue where the application’s postmarked date would control their acceptance status.

• Returning Associate members do not need to be sponsored.

• The Board of Directors will review all Associate Membership applications on April 1, 2011. Associate Members will be notified whether their applications have been accepted at that time. The board will hold all Associate Membership checks until after that date.

• New Associate Members MUST be sponsored by a current Biltmore Park resident who is also a current BPSC member in good standing. A BPSC resident member may only sponsor ONE Associate Membership per year. New Associate Memberships are ranked based on the postmarked date of their application.

• New members, both Resident and Associate, must pay a one-time Capital Reserve fee as noted on the current year’s Dues Schedule. This is a non-refundable fee.

• All membership applications must be mailed to the Biltmore Park Swim Club P.O. Box 1550, Skyland, NC 28776.
